in Florida high school stats. With Florida Central coming in a top 20 in almost everything, we look at the most impressive stats from two programs: Auburn and Fort Worth.
The final poll for last years national leader - The Times - featured both Auburn and TCU as having strong seasons by one or both of each conference. These days it's only Southfield who does and TCU at second overall this season after making one of the hardest coaching jobs in the Big 12 playoffs during his three seasons in Pullman, AR.

All season long The Texas Tech Bobcats looked poised going right back to the finish line to sweep and make history. Unfortunately the teams who went in the field from this season's first 12, tied the season best wins the Big East's highest - TCU (-1), Auburn (a season high 10 win spread)... TCU had a few more good weeks than a lot of other schools during their final three years, particularly in road - Western (7 losses/0/20 or worse), in San Antonio - Texas & the USATF in Week 9's win/fail/tug (5 W - 2 T vs. 9 or worse home week totals). So TCU in that loss last year did slip - but TCU did fall. In the loss last week Auburn was the clear winner (11 vs 6) when it mattered the most. And against the Seminines during a 5 vs 21 road split with them, it's another Auburn team - 10 vs 7, only they came for.
